Shady Butterfly
They say that Scorpio rising people should be very upfront about their stance in things, Especially in work situations because so often our actions are perceived as shady. Well I’m sitting here at work right now at 8.30 am and I feel shady.I crashed into one of the execs in the lift this morning. And he made a comment about me working 5 days now. Well technically or at least to my knowledge it’s still only part-time. In trying to explain everything to him in ten seconds or less I simply said ‘right now I’m scheduled for 3 days’. Which is technically true. But will this be a side-stepping falsity? I mean, is the statement confusing and will it come back and bite me? Can be construed in any means way or form as a sneaky tricky lie? Just because it’s technically true (that I’m scheduled for 3 days) doesn’t mean that I won’t be working 5 days say as early as the the end of this evening. The only reason why I chose to say what I said was because I hadn’t signed anything yet. And I didn’t want to put my boss in any potential hot water.
Gah.
I hate having to constantly watch my words in case I get caught out in a semi-half lie. I’ve been accused of lying before and it is one of the worst feelings and experiences ever especially when that accusation is untrue. But somehow the person mistook all my vague and side-steppy answers as an intention to lie.
Grrr.
